Every year we take a few weeks to celebrate our Which? Trusted Traders and have some fun with five categories for traders to submit entries to:
- Vehicle of the Year
- ‘Ziggy’ Award for Best Mascot
- Best Workwear
- Team Photo of the Year
- Creative Logo Use
Any of our endorsed Which? Trusted Traders can enter as many of the categories as they wish. Here’s how it will work this year:
On each day of the week from Monday 19 October, we’ll call for entries for one category per day with posts on both Facebook and Twitter. All you’ll need to do is reply to the tweet or comment on the post with your photo entry.
Once all the entries are in at the end of the week, a panel of Which? Staff will select their four favourites from each category to advance to the ‘final’.
From Monday 26 October, we will post the finals as one poll per day for each category on both Facebook and Twitter, allowing our public social media community to vote for their winner.
Remember, the #WTTsocialawards are unofficial and just for fun - these are not official Which? Awards or endorsements, and shouldn’t be treated as such.
As a result, please don’t be disheartened if your entry doesn’t make it through to the final vote. Our panel will do their best to select the ones that catch their eye the most - so please do be creative!
The votes received from both Facebook and Twitter will be combined at the end of the week - we’ll then know our winners!
The winners will be confirmed on the week beginning Monday 2 November.
Once the unofficial awards are over, we’ll then show off all the entries we received in the run up to Christmas, so everyone can see the pride our traders have in their endorsement.
We usually do supply the winners with a small fun trophy for each category, however due to the pandemic this will unfortunately have to be delayed for the foreseeable future. When we’re in a position to send them to the winners, we will do so.
