I asked John to evaluate the boiler and central heating system in a flat I had just purchased and, in light of his advice, I asked him to fit a new boiler, change some of the existing radiators, re-route pipework from wall surfaces to below the floor, and to deal with some redundant gas fireplaces and washbasins. John provided outstanding service. He worked efficiently, kept to the scheduled timetable and was exceptionally helpful in when providing his initial advice on choice of boiler and in subsequently dealing with any questions relating to the work. John is an expert professional on boilers and central heating. I can highly recommend him for the knowledge he brings, his friendly manner, the quality of his work and his meticulous attention to detail.

I'm so glad I call John out. He is so knowledgeable in his field, but furthermore trustworthy. John came out to service a boiler, which he couldn't do as there was a series of issues with the installation of the boiler. If it hadn't been for John I would have remained ignorant about some serious hazards in our home. He gave me helpful advice on how to go forward (exceeded his call out duty) and will be coming back to service boiler once the installer comes back to make things right. In the meantime, he fixed a radiator (quick 5 mins job which I'm sure would have taken someone else a lot more time). He spend a good couple of hours in my home and wanted near to nothing for his trouble. Why can't we have more tradesmen like John. I have John's number in my phone book and will be calling him out if I have any issues. Thank you very much John. I recommend John 100%.

As a Which? magazine freelance photographer I was commissioned to photograph John and his family over a completely unconnected issue back in February. Three months later we needed help in an emergency: our central heating and hot water failed completely – in the week our usual gas installer away on annual leave. I remembered John (we’d chatted about his business during the photo-shoot) and I’m very glad we did as he certainly came to our rescue, fitting us in between slightly less urgent cases. The old boiler really wasn’t economically reparable (we knew it was extremely old when we bought the house and our usual engineer had said we should replace it sooner rather than later). John confirmed its demise, and made very useful suggestions on getting a modern boiler (quiet, efficient, reliable, and with a 10 year guarantee if anything did go wrong). The quote was reasonable and we gave John the go-ahead. We had a few unforeseen issues (gas supply pipe needed to be upgraded; a rusty radiator). John coped with everything in a calm and professional manner, and we’re highly delighted with the result; a much, much, better boiler which beats the old one in every respect – and all because John was good enough to be a case-history in Which? magazine.

Our central heating system suffered from cold radiators, noisy pipework etc. British Gas quoted a very high price for cleaning it out. Did research and found John Creasey on the" Which" website. He gave us a much better price and explained exactly what was involved, with a detailed quote. He carried out the work with great care and expertise, was tidy and always punctual. The system is now functioning well and I have no hesitation in recommending him

I rang early afternoon and he arrived early evening the same day. He was very knowledgeable about the cooker and solved the problem with little fuss. He was friendly and pleasant throughout. The bill was very reasonable. I would recommend him to everyone.

Mr Creasey arrived promptly and started work straight away. He installed the new water heater and took the old one away and was generally very tidy. He explained things clearly, especially how to relight the pilot light and let me try it for myself. He was easy to talk to and I felt I could trust him. I wouldn't hesitate to have him back in the future if the need arose. I would recommend him to other people.
