John goes beyond the definition of good customer service - his meticulous attention to detail and his friendly manner make him a pleasure to deal with. He always does that extra bit - e.g/ talking me stage by stage through temporarily fixing an ancient boiler to fix my hot water problem , for 45mins over the phone - days before Xmas when he was on the way to the theatre with this wife! He is so knowledgable and you know his is selling you the best part/equipment for your needs - not being swayed by particular brand led incentives. He is independent, impartial and an expert. I trusted him whole-heartedly with our total boiler re-fit when we went off on holiday for a week and left our house keys with him. A genuinely lovely bloke who really cares about what he does. Highly recommended to my friends since.

I called John as the pump on my water system wasn't running and I had very little pressure. After some questioning John suggested that this was most likely due to the burst mains water in our area. Thus saving me a call out. I booked up John there and then to service my boiler. He turned up on date and on time, was most informative, fixed a minor problem, explained the future (for my boiler) and charged a reasonable fee. Will use again.

I normally don’t give any review. However John did an excellent job in replacing my old boiler in June that I would like to share this out. He was very dedicated and professional in the job as well as giving me great advice on how to maintain the new boiler. Great Job!

John looked after our old boiler for 20 years or more and has recently installed new radiators and a new boiler. His attention to detail is exceptional, as are his skills and care. We have relied heavily on John over many years and he has never let us down. His workmanship is of the highest standard and excellent value for money.

John fitted a new combi boiler and radiators for us in November 2013, replacing an old Baxi tank-based system and removing a gas fire in the process. Very competitive quote; top-knotch work, going out of his way to make sure all the pipe-work was neat and tidy; knows his trade inside-out and back-to-front; and is a thoroughly pleasant bloke to have around the house to boot. Thoroughly and whole-heartedly recommended, we will definitely be using his services again.

I asked John to carry out a routine annual inspection of my boiler and gas fireplace. He was very thorough and helpful, and explained things as he went. To my (mis)forutune his thoroughness did lead him to identify a serious problem with the chimney that I suspect other servicemen may well have missed. John demonstrated the problem to me, and explained very clearly and honestly that due to the severity of the fault, the fireplace had to be disconnected by law. Although it is frustrating to be without our fireplace, I appreciate that using it in its current state would put both my family and our neighbours' in danger, so I'm glad that John was indeed able to spot the problem at all. So, yes, I would certainly recommend John and his number is now firmly in my phonebook.
